Julia Domke is a passionate teacher who has dedicated herself to supporting and guiding young musical talent. Since the beginning of her career, she has successfully supported and accompanied numerous students on their musical path. She brings a wealth of experience from the practical music theater scene, which she integrates into her teaching methods. Julia Domke promotes not only technical skills, but also the personal expressiveness of her students, creating an inspiring, motivating learning environment. 




Successes and competitions


In her career, Julia Domke has achieved several notable successes for her students:


  • One pupil won 1st prize at the regional competition “Jugend musiziert” and is now training in singing at the Dresden University of Music.
  • Another pupil has successfully gained a place to study singing classic at the Dresden University of Music.
  • Another pupil has successfully secured a place at the Dresden University of Music to become a music teacher with singing as her main subject.
  • One pupil secured a place at the University of Leipzig, where she can study to become a music teacher with singing as her main subject.
  • An American student was selected for a musical workshop at the renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
  • Another student is now working as a solo accompanist at the Semperoper Dresden.





Teaching experience


Julia Domke works as a vocal coach at the Kreismusikschule Bautzen, where she teaches classical and jazz/rock/pop (also in preparation for entrance exams). She previously worked at the Dreiländereck Music school and at the Music Academy Dresden. There she taught singing, piano and choir conducting. 

Her teaching experience also includes private lessons in German and English, which enables her to respond to the specific needs of her students.





Involvement in youth development


In 2011, Julia Domke worked as a vocal coach and stage coach for the youth musical production “Flashdance” at the Herdergymnasium Pirna-Copitz, where she drew on her experience in musical theater.





Jury experience


In 2019, she gained valuable experience as a jury member of the 9th International Festival and Competition of Folklore, Dance and Music “Dresdner Wintersterne”, which enabled her to objectively evaluate competition participants and play a supporting role in music education.





Multilingualism and cultural diversity



Due to her multilingualism in German and English, Julia Domke is able to address a diverse student body and integrate cultural diversity into her lessons.
